Siesta Key Beach is lovely and incredibly photogenic. There are always great storms which in turn provide great sunsets. The Crystal white sand makes for a wonderful fill light and the expanses make for great landscapes. When the sun finally goes down it is still light across the beach for a good while. On the edges though, the scene becomes otherworldly. There is light in the sky and people walking the beach and you can see that clearly. Out back amongst the reeds and dunes the light bounces onto the tops of leaves and creates interesting little gullies of shadows and light. I've always found it interesting. Maybe its just how I search visually for light, dark, color, absence of these. Not sure. Anyway. I am always sharing the lovely beaches so here are a couple of shots when "Leaving Siesta".
